Luigi is the younger brother of Mario. Since his debut, Luigi has appeared in many games throughout the Mario series, often accompanying Mario as the central protagonist, but has starred as the main character of his own game, Luigi's Mansion. In most games of the main series, Luigi is playable, occasionally as a secret revealed in-game or as an unlockable. At times, Luigi is usually in his brother's shadow due to his some-what cowardly personality.
