A reed organ, also called a pump organ, is a type of organ featuring foot-operated bellows which produce wind, and a hand-operated keyboard which generates musical sound. In the second half of the 19th century, reed organs became popular for their low cost, power of expression, and comfortable size, and came to replace pipe organs for use in church services. They also became common instruments in homes. Above the keyboards are several knobs called "stops," which can be used to increase the range of sound when playing-Canon
