The Thunderbird 5 from the 1966 supermarionation TV series Thunderbirds is an Earth-orbiting space station which monitors calls for help from around the world and also manages communications within International Rescue. The Thunder 5 is almost completely automated, wherein the entire station is run by a single crew member. It is primarily commanded by John Tracy, although he is periodically relieved by Alan once a month.
