The Hwaseong Fortress was completed in 1796 when Jeongjo the 22nd king of the Joseon Dynasty had dreamed of transferring the capital city, and is located in Suwon-Si, Gyeonggi Province in Korea. Although the dream of transferring of the capital city melted away due to an early death of Chong-jo, the remaining fortress is evaluated as the masterpiece of the Korean fortress architecture-Canon
