The Teazer, a Confederate blockade runner, had in the beginning the only 12 pound bow gun. She encountered the USS Monitor and the USS Maratanza on the James River, on July 4, 1862. A shot from the Maratanza pierced her boiler and her crew was forced to desert her.Fast steamboats were used to break the federal blockade of the Confederacy, bringing a sought after cargo of cotton and military supplies. This one, identified as the "Teazer" in the Libarary of Congress, was photographed having been intercepted off Wilmington.

That is incredible. I have not seen any model quite like one made completely out of paper. And the detail put into it! Where exactly did you learn to make these and how much time did you spend on this one in particular?
I'm not the one who designed that though I wish I can create a model as good as that. You can check out the designer on the link I posted.
The Teazer that was captured on the James River was a small wooden screw propelled tugboat. This model is of the iron side wheel blockade runner Bat, which was renamed USS Teazer after her capture and purchase.
