Shellder is a water type Pokemon that evolves into Cloyster. Its shell is very strong and is said to be harder than a diamond. It is integral to the evolution of Slowpoke as is the body part of Slowpoke to which Shellder bites on: its tail. Once Shellder bites the Slowpoke's tail, the two will evolve into a single Pokémon, Slowbro.
