Police Spinner Papercraft
Posted by Michael James | Thursday, June 28, 2007 | papercraft, vehicles | 0 comments » A spinner is the generic term for a flying car in Blade Runner that can drive as a ground car, take off vertically, hover and cruise using jet propulsion. The movie featuring Harrison Ford came out in 1982, the year I was born so I never got the chance to see it. Maybe some of you did.
The link to the model is at the bottom of the page. It contains 9 pages of parts.

Dead Man's Chest Paper Model
Posted by Michael James | Friday, June 22, 2007 | others, papercraft | 0 comments » Disney Experience offers some of the best looking paper models on the web. The chest papercraft above definitely caught my attention. This model is beautifully detailed and is about 9.25" high, 16" wide and 8.75" deep. It is pretty big that you can put things inside. You'll need lots of paper and ink on this one though. You can get the model here. You can also download or purchase more models from the link below.

Locomotive Papercraft
Posted by Michael James | Sunday, June 17, 2007 | papercraft, trains | 1 comments » "...Not very long ago, in the top left-hand corner of Wales, there was a railway. It wasn't a very long railway or a very important railway, but it was called The Merioneth and Llantisilly Rail Traction Company Limited, and it was all there was.And in a shed, in a siding at the end of the railway, lives the Locomotive of the Merioneth and Llantisilly Rail Traction Company Limited, which was a long name for a little engine so his friends just called him Ivor..."
So began, in 1959, the first episode of the first series of a set of television films which were to become part of the mainstream of Children's television for the next thirty years.
The model is very simple and everyone can build it. Just click and save the two sheets of parts and you're ready to roll.
